Courtney Walker (Class 82) and wife, Dr. Lisa Walker
I received a call from Michael Davis two days ago about the website. Prior to then, Dunoon was the farthest thing from my mind. Having gone on the website, I am now "stucked" in the good old days and want to do nothing but view the website. The site is absolutely beautiful. Congratulations to the founder for a job well done!
Having lived overseas for nine years, I recently returned to Jamaica with my family to start the Jamaica Symphony Orchestra in the middle of the island, Mandeville. My wife is the Music Director and I am the Webmaster and Business Advisor. See www.jamaicasymphony.com.
A Kingston Branch of the orchestra will be launched in August 2009, followed by a Mobay Branch. In addition, I am developing a talent management company behind the scenes to manage and market all the artistic talents of Jamaica under one umbrella. More about this later . . .
Photos of my family have been uploaded to Facebook. You can also view photos of my two children (Luke and Jada) at www.jamaicasymphony.com. (Click on Training Division/ Debut Orchestra/ Luke Walker).
Looking forward to seeing you at the next reunion,
Courtney Walker, July 25,2009
